1. If you receive a bye in the first round and then lose your first match you will receive 1 point. This is the same as for a first round loss.

2. In the event of a walkover in your first match you will be awarded the points for the next round, provided you actually play that match in the next round.

3. Players must actually play a match in a minimum of 4 tournaments in the same age group to be eligible for the Master’s Tournament in that age group.

4. Players must be eligible to compete in the same age group in which they earned their points for the Masters in October.

5. Round Robin events - where an event runs as a round robin, points will be allocated in the same way as for a 16 draw specified above. ie the winner and runner up, either decided in a playoff or by points tally, will receive 30 and 20 points, the next 2 highest players will receive 15 points for semi finalists, the next 4 players will receve 10 points. If a player has played, but not won a match in the round robin they will be awarded 1 point.
